We have a goodmans g-shot2025tft and have pictures on hard drive, no memory disc used at the time

How do we get the pictures on our puter, the disc that came with our camera is not downloading to our puter, and we need to get the pictures off. This is a UK camera and we now live in the USA and using windows vista not sure what to do. or if we can somehow trans. the picture to a memory disc. please help. when we try to load the disc to puter it just freezes, we did try this on a computer with xp and still have the same problem.

You could try an external card reader which are cheap to purchace and simple to use.It just plugs in to usb port and comes with software.good luck

Forget the disk --always forget the disk for any camera leave it in the box. Connect the camera to the computer via the supplied USB cable. Ensure the camera is powered on and the image upload control is set [see you manual] The computer will see the connection as another drive. A window will cone up asking what you want to do. Select MOVE to a folder- making a new folder and name it and click OK. The Move command will remove the images from the card completely thus leaving ready for your next session. Let Windows Do The Work.

Most digital cameras come with a USP plug that plugs right in to comp. If you have the plug use any usp port Your comp then should ask you what you want to do? Follow screen inst.

There are numerous things to make your old computer run fast again here are a few to do.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1...Disc Cleanup...Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disc Cleanup
2...Defrag the hard drive...Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disc Defragrager
3...Delete any old programs,pictures,files,etc that you do not use anymore.
4...Move all your programs,pictures,files,etc that you want to keep onto a portable hard drive.
6...Add more memory to the computer, add as much as possible your system will allow.
7...Restore your computer back to a time when it was running faster...Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
8...Reload the operating system....Left click on "My Computer", right click on your main hard drive (normally C drive) then click "Format".
This will wipe everything from your computer and when you use the discs that came with your computer or the ones you made you will then insert them into the CD/DVD player and reinstall your operating system and drivers.
This will bring your old computer back to new operating condition.

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

The copper plates can be fitted to the new hard drive.
You can format it FAT or NTFS.

you will have to check online for your BIOS setup it is trying to boot from something that is not there have to set BIOS from UEFI to normal.
Or
Install windows using thumb drive and win32disk to install windows to thumb drive then boot from thumb drive by pressing F12 or F11 for boot order

must have a memory card in it most stores would be able to tell you if they have a card to use in it or a larger one with more memory usually you use it and download it if its full get to a computer place your USB cord in the computer and down load the pictures into the computer from the camera and send them to yourself in an e-mail, then you can erase your card in the camera and your good to go filler up again

Downloading pictures

Two ways, 1- burn the pictures to disc using an external, since I'm sure your 27 doesn't have a burner. Standard issue burners are a little after it's time. 2- purchase an IDE to USB laptop hard drive cable. This cable will allow you to connect the 27's hard drive directly to your new computer as a slave or storage device, and will show up in "my computer" as another drive.
