Fatal error Hello everyone. our printer is showing a fatal error, stating K/01b3a8e0 ?????? and we have no idea. please advice if you can. many thanks lisa and mo

Fatal Error K (for BLACK) - Black toner or drum problem, Drum life exceeded? Display would of said black drum near life before failing.

Our OKI C5100 is showing 171:Fatal error. What should we do?
The 171 Fatal error:

Upper Thermistor, State:Open
When an open circuit has been detected in the heat roller thermistor (low temperature)

Check the heater connector and the thermistor connector to make sure they are seated properly. If OK you probably need to replace the fuser.

Heat Roller Thermistor indicates high temp

Solution:
Turn off printer, let cool down.
If problem still exists seek service
