Make sure u use the other remote to turn it on. Check your LNBF for signal. Make sure your blue light is on, on the receiver itself. You cannot use the green button remote to turn the blue light ON??

SOURCE: 322 dual tuner-failure to receive signal only to one TV

If you have one cable leading from the wall toward the back of the receiver you can disconnect the seperator and diplexer (if equipped) from the SAT 1 and SAT 2 ports and connect the line from the wall directly to one of the ports and run a check switch test. You should get a 1 of 2-4 depending on lnb type on the tuner you connected the line to and a 1 of 38 on the other. Perform this operation for both SAT 1 AND SAT2 as described above. If you have the 1 of 38 appearing only on the port that the line is not connected to then the receiver is good and the problem may be the seperator which is the silver device that has two wires going to the back of the receiver initally and one port connected to the SAT port of a diplexer. Disconnect the diplexer and hook the seperator to the receiver and run the SAT line from the wall to the single port of the seperator and do a check switch. If you don't get a 1 of 38 it is good and you have a bad diplexer. If your system does not use diplexers and you are experiencing the loss on TV2 you may have a bad TV2port on the receiver. You can take the wire from the TV2 PORT(in home distribution system) and place it on the 3-4 that the TV1 line is run from. Then go to TV2 and put that tv on channel 3 and see if you have picture. If the problem is at TV1 reverse the process by connecting the line on the 3-4 ut to the TV2 port and putting TV1 on chanel 60 or 73 and see if you get picture. if either produces picture on the bad tv the port to that TV is faulty. If you were still unable to get picture it may be a cabling, connector, barrel isssue that requires a tech to visit. Hope this assists you. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

I disconected my receiver when connecting back did not work never acquire signal

The satellite in cables play a big role in a receiver getting signal. Since they were disconnected, verify the cables are both hand tight and everything is plugged in.

If the satellite was working before, but isn't after disconnecting there may be a connection problem in the line. At that point verify all the cables are tight, and you can also try swapping the Sat In cables around. The Sat In cables have to be in the correct port to work. Let me know if the problem continues!

I have Dish 322 receiver. Everything was fine; a week or so ago satellite 119 reception was spotty, now we can't get 119 at all. We get 110 but only about 34%. Sometimes the receiver will power itself off...

It looks like you have lost the signal for the 119 satellite from your dish. Are you getting an error message, either 002 or 015, saying the satellite signal has been lost or acquiring satellite signal? First, check the cables on the back of the receiver to make sure they are secure. You can also run a check switch test to see if there is a problem between your dish and receiver.

Press the Menu button on your remote. This will bring up the Main Menu on your TV screen. Input the numbers: 6 (System Setup), 1 (Installation), and 1 (Point Dish). On the right side of the Point Dish screen are 3 buttons. Select the Check Switch button. Within the 2 large boxes are satellite numbers and green or red boxes. Make a note of the satellite numbers (should be 119, 110), the trans, the device, and switch. Super dish and alternate should not be checked. Select the Test button on the bottom of the screen. If a box pops up with a warning about TV 2, select Yes. It will now run the check switch test. Let it complete the test. After completion, the screen will automatically go back to the Installation Summary screen. You may get a message stating that the Check Switch test has found fewer satellites than previously detected. If you get this message cancel out of each screen (do not save the results) till you are back to the TV screen and it is acquiring Satellite signal.

If you don't get that error message, see if the information on the Installation Summary has changed. Then select Done on the next 2 screens and cancel out of the others till you get the message, Acquiring Satellite Signal. After it finishes acquiring satellite signal and downloads the program guide, see if you are getting a picture - try different channels. If you still have problems, please email me at, [email protected]. If you are still experiencing problems, we will need to send a technician to fix the problem.

I have 322 duel tunner reciver it ask for telephone line connection and i can't connect tel line, is their a way to bit

This is Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. The message you are referring to is an older message and it has since been made irrelevant. The message will go away on it's own within about 10 to 15 min and then it will acquire the Satellite signal as normal. if the message doesn't go away, call Dish Network and they try sending an authorization to the receiver or it may need to be replaced.

322 receiver trying to acquire a sat signal for 5 days 0 out of 5 progress please help

Hi, Mary with Dish network Customer Service. The issue you are experiencing is a complete satellite signal loss message. If you are experiencing severe weather right now it is best to wait till it passes. Then you can reset the receiver box by unplugging it for 10 seconds from the power and then allow it to reboot. Also check all the connections in the room with the receiver box from the wall up to the receiver itself. If it does not get off 0 progress of 5, you will need to call Dish network and will probably need a Service Technician Visit scheduled.

My dish 322 receiver wont work 2 tv,to get service

  • There are two satellite inputs on the back of a 322. There may be a single cable going to a splitter connected to these two ports or two individual cables.
  • If there are two cables swap them, if you still get signal on the same input only then the receivers input is dead.Otherwise follow the bad cable and ensure it is not damaged or disconnected. Swap the location on the other end and see if the issue stays on the same cable. If so replace the cable, if not replace the LNB or Switch.
  • If there is a splitter bypass it and connect the single cable directly to the input that does not work. If there is no signal the port is bad, replace the receiver. If there is signal then reconnect the splitter, press menu 6-1-1, check switch, and then test. Allow the test to finish. If the two inputs do not match replace the splitter... Its called a DP Seperator

Hi benray there is something else youcan do on that to make sure your getting the strongest signal possible. Youwill need to press the MENU-6-1-1 buttons on the remote. Select Check Switchand Test, after the test is complete select done and then check the signal andif there is still a weak signal we will need to re-point the Dish.

We have a black screen with no audio. We are able to pull up the guide, but we can't watch tv or anything recorded on the DVR. How do we fix it?

No fatal error, try this. If you would, please unplug the receiver from the power outlet for about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, plug it back in and let me know when it comes on (it will do this by itself). Once it does, it should be showing Message 015, “Acquiring Satellite Signal”.

Low output signal on receiver 2 output

Hi jimreeves46 sense your getting a low signal on TV2 whatyou will need to do is a Hard Reset and Check Switch Test. The first thing wewill do is the Hard Reset, you will want to unplug the receiver for 10 secondsand plug it back in and it will power back up by itself. After it fully resetsyou will need to do a Check Switch Test, you will need to press the MENU buttonand then the numbers 6-1-1 on the remote. You will need to select Check Switchand then test. After the test completes exit out of all Menus then it will reacquirethe signal and you will have a stronger signal for TV 2.
