Question about Sony KP-57HW40 57" Rear Projection Television

Overpoewering red my set came from my mothers house when she passed last fall. I never plugged it in until now. when I turn on the set everything is fine for about 8 seconds. then the red just starts to look like a super nova and then everything turns red. I can still see the picture but i cannot see any other color because the red is dominating everything. I can turn the set off and turn it back on and then the same thing happens all over again. the longer the set is off the longer it takes to happen again. sometimes it can take up to 5 minutes to mess-up. I took the back off and cleaned the lenses then i took a can of compressed air and blew out all of the dust nothing improved can you help me straighten out this problem

Every person I know who purchased this very expensive unit has had this problem early in the life of the TV. Sony is no help. Sony will suggest you take it to a repair facility. Sony from years ago is not the Sony of today. It was expensive to purchase and it will gouge you with repairs. Your choice. I eventually discarded my set and purchased a JVC. These rear projection TV's are garbage and Sony knows it and they dont care. Seems like the last for only a few years and then major problems occur. My solution replace it!

Electric Bosch tankless water heater wont heat water.

Here is the run down>
Water too cold Neon light on:
Cause:
1). Water flow is too high-adjusting the water flow as follow; open fully both inlet and outlet shut-off valves at the heater, then turn on fully the highest flowing hot water faucet closest to the outlet connection. Adjust the outlet shut-off valve until the water flow from the hot faucet corresponds to the approximately 3.6gal/min at 105 degree.
2). One of the power supplies is not on-check the breaker box, there should be three ganged breaker, each corresponds to each of the heater power supply.
3). The power supply voltage has dropped-reset the breaker in the breaker box.
4). Temperature dial is turned too low- temperature adjustment is made using the dial on the bottom edge of the unit. The adjustment is between approximately 95 and 135 degree F. Turning the dial clockwise increase the temperature settings.
5). The inlet water temperature has dropped-readjust the temperature dial.

95 Honda Passport Heater/AC Fan stopped blowing

Fan motors are vulnerable to junk falling into vents, fluff and debris being sucked in with air, as well as mice dragging nesting material in and setting up house inside squirrel cage. THis happens alot. Also, fans usually have a clip of some sort that has been added at one spot around the edge to balance the wheel during rotation. If this clip falls off, or an object causes a crack, or debris falls into the fan housing, the resulting imbalance will make noise! Fans are also easy to remove and check for trash or damage. Remove the fan motor and inspect for these or any other faults. COuld be a worn shaft bearing that's causing the vibration or rumble. Should be able to lay fan in floorboard, plug in and turn on. Hold the edge of the fan to stabilize it, and observe its operation out of the housing if no defects are found visually. Hope this helps you. TT

Tv comes on then instanty goes off red light flashes 5o inch flat

I've seen this before and found that by plugging the power cord into a different circuit in the house worked. Or you could unplug everything else and then try to turn on the tv.  If it comes on plug one thing in at a time until the tv shuts off and then you'll know how many things you can plug in at once.  If this isn't the prob then it may be a something in your tv that is pulling 2 much current and shutting it off.
