Question about Ariston Technologies AW129NA 16 Lbs Front Load Washer

Soon as i set cycle and swich on door light flashes open

This machine is a whirlpool awm 6145/3 when i set programme and press start within a minute the machine light flashes door open stopping the cycle going any further please can any one help.

Hi,
The cycle doesn't advance
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. 


It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Swich off the machine, try some WD40 on the door mechanism (on machine lock, not on the door) and open & shut for a minute or two. Then try the machine, spin only just to try.

Whirlpool AWM 6100/s Front load washer
Sounds like the front door switch has come out of place, or the actuator is out of place. If you can take the front cover off to get to this switch, you should be able to get it back into place pretty easily. Hope this helps, chad

I have a whirlpool sixth sense washing machine. the door open light constantly flashing although the door is well shut. No programmes work
We had the same issue: the cycle would start then stop, with the door open light coming on. It turned out to be a faulty contact in the door. Took a technician 15 minutes to fix.

Whirlpool awm 6145/3 washing machine. Door shuts cycle starts but within about 5 seconds it stops and door open light comes on.

Whirlpool AWM 8143 - Starts a cycle and then starts flashing open door light and won't go further. Door is shut properly. Tried turning it off at the power and back on to no avail.
This is either a problem with the door lock itself or most probably a motor failiure as the door open light also indicates some kind of motor problem. If your appliance is 4/5 years and above then you will most likely need to change the set of carbon brushes on the motor and this will solve your problem

Awm 8121 no programs work. door open light flashes. only get something happening in drain cycle. turn control to different setting then back to drain and it completes a drain and all lights go off. approx...
try unpluging for one min. then plug back up.hope this helps
