The best thing on the next page is to enter your computer's Service Tag Number which Dell computers have. There should be a label on your desktop with this number.

Click on the "Choose by Service Tag" and enter your number. When you use the Service Tag, it knows what hardware and software your system came with.

You can also enter your Model number. Select "Choose a Model". Then select Desktops. Then Dimension. Then select L__c. Then Confirm.

Either way you do it you will end up on the page with available downloads. Enter your operating system from the drop down menu for the correct ones.

2 things you can try, On the bottom of the laptop there is a bar code type sticker the will say service tag, go to the dell web site scroll down to drivers and downloads when you click on that link it will give you the options to search by model or service tag. Put in the service tag number of your laptop, next screen should ask for your operating system make sure you have your current one in the box. The drivers and software that where commonly shipped with your model should show up.

Your service tag will be on a sticker on the bottom of your laptop. It will be 6-8 characters long, probably on the same sticker as the model number or serial number. Thanks and please take a moment to give this solution a rating of fixya. :c)
