OASIS HE 27092 - Strange power problem

No error codes on screen. Ran a load this morning then the machine shut off and would not power on. Unplugged it, waited, plugged it in and it powers on but all led's flash then it shuts off. Now it will not power on at all. It beeps when I plug it in. Paid $1019 for this washer in April of 06. The warranty expired 14 days ago. Sears wants $65 to come out sometime around the end of the week (and I know they'll just tell us they need to order parts and that will be another week). They offered a $205 "repair warranty." I have seen others with this issue but none that had clear resolutions. Anyone on here have a suggestion? I am extremely dissatisfied with Sears at this point. Thanks in advance. Rollo

First of all - Sears techs have no idea when it comes to washing machines that are not purely mechanical. We had 4 different techs out and they were all absolutely clueless as to how this washer works.

What it comes down to is this - Sears first response is to replace the main circuit board and power supply. The board that actually fixed this problem (I ordered it myself and installed it) was the pcb behind the control panel. They now owe me over $600 in credits for parts they ordered that didn't fix the problem.

I have a similar problem, My 27092 Starts, then, shuts down almost immediately with an F1 code, After multiple times 10-15 times), it will finally start, then it kicks off again at around 16 mintes (on the normal cycle, different times on different settings)with an F1 code, and sometimes you can get it started again, sometimes you have to start over with the cycle from scratch.

Manual says Control board, Call-In Center says Control Board(they called it a control Panel) Been waiting on Sears since Dec 17th, First available appointment was Dec.31st and 8-5 appointment, walked in, Lifted the lid, said the control panel was bad,(Surprise surprise! Why does the machine post the code if it's not going to be acted on??) have to order it the part, he says, not allowed to have it on the truck, he says. This time it was not a Sears Repair truck, that came it's a Maytag truck! He will check with his boss to see if it can be Emergency Ordered ???!!! he left in less than 3 minutes, leaving me with no Idea when it will get ordered, when I might expect to recieve it. I find out later, that many people have had this problem, and this isn't the first time that Sears has come out to repair this Washer of mine either(f51 code before). Thank Goodness I bought a Protection Plan. Upon calling into Sears again, I find out that they are shipping the part direct to me, then I'll have to call and make another appointment with them for them to come out and install it!!!!

I've asked to exchange this washer for a Front Loader which I wish I had gone ahead and bought in the first place now, so far they have said no on a replacement or exchange. Called my store where I bought it on their local phone number(Or tried to) got directed to a national call center, where they seem to be avoiding the stores answering the calls these days, and finally got to a saleperson on the floor, they upgraded my issue to One Source, whatever that means? I'll update this as anything changes. At least for now, my advise is stay away from Sears/Oasis!

I have to wait a week before someone could come out to look at it. From what I hear seems like I'll be waiting a little longer. My washer just beeps when I plug it back in. No power what so ever.

Getting F1 error on almost every load on rinse cycle with 18 min.left on timer. I can fix almost anything electronic if i can get the covers off.

Can someone tell me how to remove top cover. I woudn't want to scratch the $%!$$ machine before I put it on the curb. The life you save may be the machines.

Same problem as Rollo's. Last night I tried to start the washer - no power - no lights - nothing. I unplugged the washer and replugged it - it beeped. Still, no power. Rollo said something about the "pcb" that a repair that I can do myself (actually, my husband would do it!) I've called Sears. It will be a week before they can come a cost of $65. I know already they'll order a part, wait for it to come in, and then come back out...another $65 not counting the price of the part. When I called Sears last night, they offer me a one year warranty for $214 - it covers all repairs up to $500 for one year. This sucks.

I have a Kenmore Elite Oasis HE Model 27086602. Machine has strange power issues. It will turn itself on, various lights flash, multiple beeps. Turned it off, left it unplugged for a while, still have the issue. Try to use it and sometimes its ok, other times the water temp continues to change on its own and beeps every time it changes (before and during the wash cycle). I tried to reseat all the connections on the power board and contol panel board, but that only fixed it temporarliy (2-3 hours). It turned it self on and started beepeing again. The numbers of minutes on the display and water temp changes every second or two. I feel it is a short in the control panel. Is there a way to "reset" the contol board. Where can I get a control board? NAy help would be greatly appreciated.

Getting oL code even after diagnostic check

OL, usually means Over Loaded. It is an error code thrown up by the on board computericon1.png.. generally when TOO much wet weight is in the bowl.

This condition is could be caused by faulty solenoid or solenoids at the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine, turn off the water, and remove the supply hoses. Check the solenoids at the water inlet valve. They can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter and checking for continuity. A lack of continuity will indicate a faulty solenoid and the inlet valve assy will need to be replaced.

Try unplugging for 12 hrs before reconnecting
If the problem continues then the controller board is damaged and will need to be replaced.

These units have several very common error codes. the most common being error code F1. Oasis washer repair is simple. The link below has a video that explains how to replace the main control board on a Oasis washing machine.

Welcome to fixya.
I'm Huuum and happy to assist you,

Sounds like we need to try to reset the system!

Huuum At your service!
Lets try this,
Like with an error code.
This can reset the system if it is electronic!
Unplug the washer and wait a 5 minutes then restart it.
If you can't reach the plug, use the breaker to cut the power for 5 minutes.

It's like rebooting your computer when its acting strange!
Usually it corrects some error problems if they are not serious.
Or they are sometimes just a glitch.

Let me know how it works! Waiting for your reply!
Please remember to leave a rating when you are done!
Thank You huuum

LF means long fill or that is what the repair tech told me when I first got my set and was having major issues with it. What he said was causing it during initial fill up the drain hose if inserted into the drain to far will create a siphon. It is a simple fix just barely put your drain tube into the wall and you should be set.

UL Code

You are going to experience endless problems with this. Please take my advise and go out and buy a used 10 year old Maytag, even if you replaced every part on it you then would have the best machine ever made.

kevin, F50 is the code for when the motor rotor positon sensor does not detect any rotation. If the basket turns freely a bunch of test will have to be made to find out the problem. On the inside of the front panel there is a tech sheet that will guide you through the troubleshooting...Catriver
