Re: accessing echolink nodes
Please go to the following website and check the port numbers that you have forwarded. Some wireless routers do have issues forwarding ports.
Also, before you use this tool, make sure ICMP is not blocked in the router's settings; if it is blocked all ports would show blocked.
Try this and let me know the results.

Contact you provider to see if you can get the router configuration set to "Default so that you can gain connectivity again. Changes in the router ESSId cause the router to change all parameters therefore locking the connection. You can reinstall the router software and start from scratch to reset the router and enter a new ESSID password but I would get with the ISP and go through there setup procedure to ensure proper settings for their server. You probably missed something when replacing the password.
Are you trying to login to the router from a laptop wirelessly or is the laptop directly connected to the router? If you are trying to configure the router for the first time, you need to be directly connected to it. Wireless is turned off by default and access to the router setup by wireless connection is also usually disabled by default.
First press RESET button it is in back side of router press it for 10 seconds so all settings are defaults.
Then connect your router to computer with ethernet cable.
Then access it with following link. http://192.168.1.1
type user name as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
You may be advised to use an RJ45 LAN cable to try the following, then use the wireless connection when all ais up and running.
The default Login ID and Password is ?root? with password ?1234?.
This Wireless Access Point?s default IP address is 192.168.1.253,
You can reset this Wireless Access Point back to its default settings by clicking on Reset button, and then press OK button to confirm your decision.
Note: you can also hold down the reset button on this Wireless Access Point?s panel for more than 10 seconds to reset its default settings back to factory default.
If the reset doesnt work turn off router then on again first, but if the reset doesnt work, the router may need to be replaced.
