My nokia n81 automaticly quit applycations and menu...

I have nokia n81...when i try too go into the menu screen it suddenly or automaticly back to main screen...

    I have the same problem plus the buttons seems to act differently when pressed. When i press the "down" key, it always says "application cant be deleted"

Click and hold menu button, you should see all the applications that are currently running, select them one by one and close all of them keeping the "phone" application only.

then click once to open the menu.

you can also turn off the phone then on again. but make sure to fully EXIT the application after you finish using it. this will keep your batter life longer and save phone memory on your phone, it will also preform much faster.

HI,

Looks your cell is going to the screen saver mode after few minutes.If you have a manual for your phone just go through it and you will find the instructions to disable it.

N81 GPS not connecting
I called in another Nokia shop and asked them , they told me the N81 did not have the GPS connection only a simulation it would works with an external GPS reciver, fortunatley I had one which I used for my laptop and this worked perfectly with it .The shop Igot my N81 had told me I did not need any other device.
