Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

SOURCE: DAEWOO TV/VCR COMBO DVQ 14H1FC LOST REMOTE

Hi, Sometimes the universal remotes are tricky.  If you don't purchase one that is specifically recommended by the manufacturer, you won't get full functionality.  Here is a generic that is "replacement" for that remote: http://www.daewoo.newremotecontrol.com/catalog_item.php?catnum=48B4139A02
Here is another place that has the replacement and an alternative: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=gmi&uuid=12257602513440&smodel=48B4139A02&brand_pn=DAEWOO_48B4139A02
Hope this was helpful, have a great day!

SOURCE: aewoo tv/vcr combo

Go here, http://www.remotecodelist.com/remotes/ look-up your brand remote scrolling down through all the differetn manufacturers - then click on link for what component it is you're looking up a code for and it should open a new page. Then look up the model and several codes should be listed...
Good Luck!

SOURCE: daewoo tv/vcr combo ccodes

Hi here are some codes I have 0278 0624 If they dont work try programing the VCR
first then the TV. To program the VCR put a tape in and put it on play after you put
the code in hit the power button the vcr should stop playing. If that works then program the TV.
Some TV/VCR combo's require two codes. Good Luck

The menu does not have a choice to change from antena to cable how do I get it on cable

Typically, your cable box will have two inputs & one output that goes either thru your VCR for recording puposes or just direct to the TV. Your switching will happen thru your cable box, like an A/B switch, designed so that when cable is down, you can switch over to locally broadcasted TV stations. With DTV now in play in most areas, you will want to connect the antenna's connector to your DTV box, then connect it to your cable box for switching back and forth. The new flat panel TVs already have a digital receiver built-in, so in that case you would eliminate the DTV box.

I connected audio and video wires in front and I would like to swith to external input but there is no switch. I tried all different channels but does not work. How do I watch external device?

You must select "AV in" mode on the Remote to get the signals on this connection.. If your TV has more than one input (one at the back too) than you have a selection of "AV1" and" AV2 " to switch on these two..
Hope this helps!..if more help requires pls let me know.

Daewoo DVN-14F6N

Same problem...Went to Goodwill Store, they usually have a large basket of remotes. I found a Daewoo remote for a TV only, HOWEVER on the bottom it has a AIR/CABLE button. The remote doesn't say Daewoo on it only..."Remote Controller R-25B03". The rest of the button of course work with the TV portion of the DVN-14F6N.

No Power... Main Fuse Blows right away. Resistor R809 has its outer layer burned off so I cant tell what value it is.

I would check the rectifiers (diodes) all 4; one or two may be shorted. Check color code for R809 or may have number on it if it is white square resistor
