Global 300 Dishlex draining problem

I have a Global Dishlex 300 that continues to run the pump even though the internal sump is empty and the pump is pumping air. It can still be turned on and off via the front panel and the programme can be changed. It is not the float switch that detects leakage at the base of the unit as the detection float area is dry and the switch is electricaly operational in both states.

The eco light is flashing constantly on my Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher, it is making a noise like a pump is running continously, but the unit will not operate. Can you give me some possible faults and...

Hi,

The symptoms on a Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher:
  • eco light is flashing constantly;
  • noise on pump running continuously;
  • but the unit will not operate.
Possible corrective actions include:
  • water level - pls check incoming water pressure, filter, water level sensor, water valve;
  • base/bottom overflow sensor - there is a float switch in the base of the machine inside a small plastic dish. Behind the kick panel, access through a metal lid/panel/cover secured by 2 small screws. Dry completely the area;
  • Air/dry/ventilate the unit/system for a couple of days;
  • reduce incoming water pressure.
Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

The drain pump runs continuously when the Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher is turned on. When pushed, the buttons on the control panel would not change any of the cycles.

This could be that the anti flood device "polystireen float and micro switch at the base has detected water at the bottom due to a leak (pipe or pipe clamp). This device puts the washer in pump out mode and will not continue. Firstly you need to determine what causes the water leak and rectify it before it will continue.

Dishlex dishwasher global 300. Dishwasher continues to drain with ECO light flashing. Service manual says it is due to an incorrect fill level or fill line.

Some diswashers have a sump in the bottom with a float switch. If the water level overflows the float will activate the switch which will kill the machine and run the drain pump continuously.
