Question about Frigidaire Affinity Glacier Blue 3.5 Cu. Ft. I.E.C. Capacity Front Loading Washer, ATF7000EG
Just got the Frigidaire washer, and in our first load it's making a buzzing noise after it got into one of the higher cycles. It's not a mechanical buzzing noise, but rather sounds like that of an alarm. I can pause the load and after hitting resume the noise begins again. Did I forget to take out some sort of precautionary plug or something? Water seems to be filling and draining normally, and operation seems to be normal except for the noise. Thanks
Try some anti-sqeek or soap on your washer belt.

It could be just a dry belt and pulley.
You could try the old squeeking car fan belt trick and rub soap on the belt. You can even buy sticks of anti-squeek from automobile outlets.
An unlikely thing would be the transport supports; be sure you have dismantled certain things behind the machine; according to your manual before you plug in. These struts are put in to prevent the drum from moving while in transit.

mine does the same, buzzing towards the end of each cycle. It sounds like a 60 Hz electrical buzzing from a solenoid or something. Coming from the door lock area, but not correlated with the door lock cycle. The noise comes and goes smoothly as if the machine is gradually applying more and less voltage. If the door is wiggled or pressed on lightly, it affects the volume of the noise. Pausing cycle stops the noise although the door is still locked, resuming causes the noise to return.
