Broken LCD I cracked the LCD while the player was in my pocket. Any ideas where I could get it fixed (preferrably for LESS than I paid for the player), or at least aquire a new LCD?

From the Acer web site:
"Cracked LCD displays are not covered under the normal warranties and should be serviced through our out-of-warranty process." I would suggest you just buy another LCD. I recently bought one, new, on sale for less than $100. If this answers your question, I'd appreciate 4 thumbs. I do this for fun and do not get paid. Jim
if there are no visible marks or cracks on the plastic case itself then it sounds like the LCD screen behind the plastic protective screen is cracked or damaged (especially if its been dropped, or had a lot of pressure put on it e.g. left in a pocket when sitting down, heavy object on it), if its new i would consider taking it back with the receipt for a replacement.
otherwise it will need someone with some repair skills to replace the screen.
Its only worth it for a 16GB or more. It costs $79.99 total to get a new screen installed. http://www.thegadgetdr.com/Creative-Zen-Repair-White-or-Cracked-LCD-Screen-p/rs-zen-lcd.htm
Sorry to hear about the screen on your Sansa E250 MP3 player. It sounds like the Liquid Crystal Display screen has broken. It's possible that the damage is repairable but to be honest due to the high cost of electronic repair it may not actually be cost effective to do so.
You can contact SanDisk to get service information. They can give you a basic idea of what it would cost to get an estimate on repairs and the average cost. Their webite is http://www.sandisk.com.
