My question is will the two moniter sockets at the rear act as dual moniter ...
Or do I need to purchase a dual moniter card ?
Thanks
regards Brendon
Looks to me if you this the same card that you already have a card that supports dual monitors.

If this is the correct card or your card has the VGA and DVI outputs on the back as this one does you can run two moniters. Depending on what kind of monitors you use you may need to purchase a VGA to DVI converter or DVI to VGA.
But other than that after you have everything hooked up properly you can set up the secondary display in Catalyst Control Center.
Yes, they both will act independently if you choose to use it that way or they will show the same picture, one is a DVI output and the other is VGA. Use the ATI’s CATALYST software suite provides the ultimate software required to enjoy the full acceleration of your ATI Graphics Accelerator card. You can use it to separate your Primary video from your Secondary video.
