I recently moved my apartment around. There was work being done to it. The television worked fine as I was living temporarily in another apartment. I moved back into my original space and now it shuts off after being turned on. This is frustrating me. What is the real cause of this?
The television is going into high voltage shut-down. Best guess, either a faulty voltage regulator, bad cap, or both. Be careful when working inside a television due to high voltages that are present even when television has been off and unplugged for days. Good luck.
