Printer does not take paper from the tray

Hi, Printer does not take paper but it gives the sound of printing, i have samsung ml2010. it worked untill last week. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks, Raj

    I am not able to remove the removable rod.

Try this Take out paper tray. Remove Toner cartridge Stand printer on its back so that you can see the pick up wheels/roller They should/could be on a removable rod/axle Pop it out and give a gentle rough up with a fine emery/nail board Re assemble - make sure the rod/axle is snapped it tight and correctly linked up re plug in - try it out. Failing that check the makers tech help on the web site.

Paper stuck - Samsung ML2010

Clean the roller with 409/simple green or water. Use a cloth not paper towel. NO alcohol. Rub it up good and it should start feeding. steven 818-888-0006

Samsung ML2010 Printer does not receive the Paper

Make sure you have put enough paper in paper tray. Printer will not pull paper if not enough. (more than 10 sheets) hope it works. : )

Reputable or not, every once in a while you get a bad one (even originals). It's obviously defective. Return for a replacement

Paper jam in tray 1

Hi glenpcr,

I had the same problem and solved it.
At my printer it was a problem of the MP-tray (multi purpose tray).
There are two hinges which keep the open MP-tray in a horizontal position. One of this hinges was broken and I just received it.
Just try it.

Printing jammed on thicker paper

See the manual. It looks as if 120g/m2 is the heaviest paper it can use:
"Set Type to correspond to the paper loaded in the tray from
which you want to print. This will let you get the best quality
printout. If not, print quality may not be acheived as you want.
Thin: Less than 19 lb (70 g/m2) thin paper.
Thick: 24 lb to 32 lb (90~120 g/m2) thick paper.
Cotton: 20 lb to 24 lb (75~90 g/m2) cotton paper such as Gilbert
25 % and Gilbert 100 %.
Plain Paper: Normal plain paper. Select this type if your printer is
monochrome and printing on the 16 lb (60 g/m2) cotton paper.
Recycled: 20 lb to 24 lb (75~90 g/m2) recycled paper.
Color Paper: 20 lb to 24 lb (75~90 g/m2) color-backgrounded
paper."
