date and time are already imbeaded in each picture.
for you to print it with the date and rime stamped on it......you'll ned a software to enable it before printing. The software that came with the camera have that feature.check print settings.

Yes and no... When printing the photos yourself, you can add the date via software. You can also download software that will allow you to add the date (and save it) before printing your images (http://www.avpsoft.com/products/timetophoto/).
As far as commercial printing kiosks (Walgreens, Walmart ect.) you have already found out that it isn't possible; however, I have found a local Camera Retailer (Mom and Pop shop) with some high end kiosks that read the stored date and ask if you want it included with the picture. The only thing is that it puts the date on the back of the photo, my wife would prefer it on the front.

The DSC-H2 does not have the time stamp feature
It does show up in the Properties if you have set the clock and turned this feature on

You can put date stamp on pictures if you print that picture in photo printer via picbridge option in camera.

This model does not support superimposing of date and time on images See page 28 of your manual. You can print date and time on your photos by using Picture Motion Browser
