BUTTONS ARE STICKING

I loved my camera until recently when the play, stop, rewind and fast forward buttons started sticking. Then the record button started sticking. My sister-n-law has also started having this problem. Is this happening to anyone else? If so, what have you done to resolve the problem?

How do I set the clock on my Panasonic SA-Ak270 mini stereo

The main unit is the SA-AK270. The entire mini-system is called the SC-AK270. The manual is available on the Panasonic support site: https://www.panasonic.com/au/support/manual-download/audio/hi-fi/sc-ak270.html . You do need to accept the Panasonic terms of use to download the manual. The check box is below the box with the Manual description and View link. The clock setting procedure is shown on page 14 (with the remote). The pictures of the remote control and main unit buttons are on pages 8-9 of the manual.

With the remote, press the Clock/Timer button until the Display is showing the time. Press Skip Back/Rewind or Skip Forward/Fast Forward within 8 seconds of pressing Clock/Timer to set the hour. Press Clock/Timer again and use the same Rewind/Fast Forward buttons to set the minutes. Note: the SC-AK270 uses a 24-hour clock.

You can also do this by starting with the Display button on the main unit. Then use the Skip Back/Rew and Skip Forward/Fast Forward buttons on either side of the Manual Eq button.

I hope this helps.

Sony Handycam CCD-TRV37 8mm Analog... 2 Problems, maybe more unknown at this time:

This does require disassembly to remedy the problem. There are various possible fixes. The most prevelant I have seen is cold solder connections of the board connector for the fpc cable from the top operation switch block ass'y. All you need is someone who can handle this task, like a professional. The controls that you are experiencing problems with are all linked with one cable and connector. One bad solder joint can cause serveral operation faults. Good Luck, magic seadog

I do not know how to use it, i have the manual, but i do not find it

The recorder takes 2 AAA batteries. Press Menu/Folder (on the right above the jogdial (Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Play)) to select the folder to add a new recorded item. (The folders are A,B,C, or S. Folder S will come up with a date and you can select another date for the recording.) Folders A, B and C can hold 100 files each; Folder S has 365 dates which can hold 15 items each.

Press and hold the Menu/Folder button for a second or longer. The Screen should show the Mode menu. Press Play and then the Fast Forward and Rewind buttons to set the recording quality. HQ is the high quality recording and will fill up the available storage on the organizer more rapidly. LP will record for the longest period.

Set the Microphone sensitivity by pressing and holding Menu/Folder. Then press the Fast Forward or Rewind button until Mic appears on the display. Then press Play and use the Fast Forward or Rewind buttons to select Low or High sensitivity. (An external mic often gives better results.)

Once you have set the folder for the next recording and the recording quality and microphone sensitivity, press Rec (center above the jogdial) to start recording. Press Stop to end the recording or Rec to pause it. (It will stop if the Pause is longer than 10 minutes.) Press Display to see how much longer you can record before using up the available storage space.

To play back a record, locate the item in the folder then press Play.

The manual for the Olympus VN-1800 is available from the Olympus support site: http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_support_manuals.asp?id=841 . The direct link to the English version of the manual is http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/oima_cckb/VN-900_VN-1800_VN-3600_Instructions_EN.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Skipping ahead when viewing recorded programs

It sounds liek your remote control button is sticking inside a bit.
To test it, have it playing, and hide the remote under a cushion so it can't possibly send a signal to the main unit.
Sometimes the rubber buttons need cleaning underneath, even though they don't appear to be stuck down at all.
Its also possible that the remote is actually just going faulty emitting fake signals. I have a HiFi that turns on and starts the radio all on its own (spooky!!!). I found its the remote occasionally sends a radio-on signal about once a week to the HiFi :)
I just hide the remote now unless i'm using the thing.

The two arrow buttons on either side of the FAST key will play it Forward or Reverse. Combining the FAST key with a direction initiates a fast forward or rewind.
