Hi, I have a PV-C1341 which wont start on power on. Only the Prog Timer LED keeps flashing on Green. When I press the Power button I can just hear a click sound, thats all, and there is nothing on the screen. Also, I can insert a video tape and eject it, but it wont play, rewind or forward. Please help. thanks in advance! Harry.

Unplug TV from AC outlet for couple of minutes, replug back in, turn power ON and check, still same problem?
Lets read error code in TV, press Device and Menu buttons on front of TV at same time for 6 seconds that will activate error code read process. Led will flash in 2 sequence with half second pause. count it and let me know the error code to proceed.
Thanks.

Power serge

ok First question does the led continue to blink after 70 seconds after u plug it in. it is common for a cuircit board called the dm(digital module) to go bad in these units. this set has a keyboard lockout feature. Press menu for 10 seconds on front panel. if that does not release control then u more than likely have a problem with dm module. there are several bullitens about this and several things a tech can do to repair this set

Wont turn on

Hi Bismi, my PV-DM2792 behaves for last four days in the same way - double clicks when power button is depressed and the light PROG is flashing every second continously. I have called to the Panasonic customer service and they could not propose a solution to this problem other than contact an authorized dealer in my area. SirJ
