My cell phone has no network connection

I recently dropped my cell phone into a glass of tea. After placing the phone into a bag of rice overnight, everything looked ok except there was no network connection. As stated, everything else works great just no signal.

Try this: turn off the phone & let it charge for 48hours, that will give it enough time for the electricity to dry out the internal circuitry in the phone and possibly fix your internal antennae problem...if that doesn't work then your phone's tea bath may have shorted the antennae.

LG Xenon dropped in glass of tea.

So now you have "rice tea"? Try to recover it by opening it up and removing everything you can (battery, sim card, etc). Help it dry using a dry, clean source of blown air for 1/2 hour or so. Work the air around to blow out any moisture. Wait a day or so and do it again. Then assemble it and tell me and your friends if you liked the rice tea recipe.

I dropped my samsung intensity cell phone in a glass of iced tea now when I turn it on it stays on the verizon wireless screen and won't do anything else

let it dry out for many days, open keyboard and take out battery, put in a ziplock bag of rice and leave it inside for days to pull moisture out. Mine got hit by rogue wave at beach and it is coming back to life slowly!

Take out the battery, and completely dry the phone before trying to use again.
Here is the procedure to take out all moisture trapped in the phone: Dry the phone, battery, any accessory, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, phone and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs. Hope this helps!
