The jack point on my elio photo jukebox is faulty. I can only hear through one earpiece unless I physically hold the headphone plug in. Is there anywhere in the UK I can get it repaired....the disc tells you to go to eliohome.com but this just seems to be a site full of links

Unusual to fail on both channels at the same time, however the most common cause is a break in the wire just above the 3.5mm plug. I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions. I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.
I sprayed WD40 on the headphone plug and put it in and out of the headphone jack on the phone a few times. It seems that the jack gets stuck when the headphones are plug in but doesn't go back when the headphones are removed.
Sorry it wasn't the Elio Jukebox with 20 GB, it was the Elio Jukebox with 4 GB. And yes it's solved. I copied the files from a second Elio on it. Not the files from the CD!!! You must copy the files from a working unit. It works with mine. If you need the files - I can mail it to you. I am from Germany but after you copied the files you can change the language from German to English on the player menue.
Here is the link for the user manual;
There is a docking cradle (check page 29)although the link they suggest is a pointless search portal which just directs you to more search portals, equally useless. If you are interested in getting one please ask again and I will look harder but I suspect they may be a little hard to get hold of and neither Tatung or Asono sell them on their sites. here is the link to the contact details for Asono (if you get it in Norwegian there is a select language box at the top right of the page and it is available in English also) they may be able to tell you who they sold any surplus too etc.
and hopefully your other questions are answered in the manual also.
Hope this helps, please ask again if you need more :)
you can bypass the need for soft ware disc by conecting to your pc click start menu go to my computer open elio jukebox click propeties open pathway to music and apply then you can drag and drop music straight into your elio or right click music file you want to send and jobs done
i have similar problem, i think i know why mine doesn't work. My son connected the usb port to power supply, since then the elio manager does not recognise that the player is connected.... something must have blown in the usb circuitry
