Question about RCA Thomson Digital Cable Modem (DCM305R)
At the back of the modem the is a small hole very small, use a pin and while the modem is on use it to push the botton inside of the small hole. this should restart the modem, if not delete AOL from your PC and then do it again usely when you connect your modem to your PC it should log onto the web without you having to do anything.
if this dosen't help you need to give us more info on what errors are coming up.

Have you tried to reset the device using a pin or paperclip, this should restore the device to factory settings and allow your new internet service provider help you with the setup to connect to thier service.
