I have an EXIDE UPS model P2-1000C, 1kVA @100V 50/60Hz. The Powerware site does not recognize this model. It uses an IR IGBT module type 97-0280A. IR do not release any specs or even pin-out, as data belongs to Exide. But I have done my own analysis, showed that two of four IGBT's are kaput, and replaced by discretes of my own choice after eliminating the internal wiring. I still have problems with huge inrush current from both battery and line ac supply. And the inverter section does not start! I AM expert at reading between the lines of any user manual, however stupid the user it assumes to be. Can you help me, by suggestions, or access user manual? Directly to welcome.

If it is just how to turn on, you can download a manual from the Powerware site.
To turn the UPS on, press the middle button on long enough for the UPS to come on.
It will display that it is coming on, then will do abattery self test.
Try contacting Eaton. They bought Powerware about 6 years ago and the personnel are trained on older Powerware systems. If you have the part number and serial number from the rating label on the UPS, that would be helpful.
