control panel mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons, pointers, pointer options and hardware under hardware you can troubleshoot or select properties under driver you can update driver, rollback driver or uninstall and under hardware you can troubleshoot in xp hope this helps
Remove the battery of the mouse and install new one and then press connect button from the mouse side and the receiver side also. Hope this helps. Please rate my response. Thanks. Have a good day.
Some laptops have a touch pad between the keyboard and the edge of the laptop. This works like a mouse except you slide your finger around the pad to move the mouse pointer and the buttons next to the touch pad are the left and right buttons.
Other laptops have a small round button in the middle of the keyboard which is a mini joystick and it is used to move the mouse pointer around, it will have a couple of mouse buttons at the botom edge of the keyboard.
You can connect a normal mouse to your laptop, it is mush easier than using the laptop's touch pad or mini joystick.
Download the latest drivers from this logitech site: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/&cl=us,en Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
Thanks! I fixed the problem by installing a USB mouse and using fn+f9. That unlocked the mouse so I could use the pointer leaving just the keyboard problem. I then tried reconnecting the wireless keyboard (by using the button on the receiver and under the keyboard) Hey Presto!!

Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the MouseReceiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
