As i recall, the fan is at the back just under the hob and is removable without removing the hobtop - just held in by 3-4 screws. if i'm wrong and hobtop has to be raised, this is quite easy. take off the side panels and you will see 2 screws each side holding the hobtop on. don't confuse them with the screws which hold the plate retaining bracket in place but it is all quite obvious. as a thought, are you sure the fan is faulty? the fact it is not operating doesn't mean it is faulty. the fan is turned on by a fan stat which may also be faulty.

I live in a small apartment in New York City and don't have a lot of space for a wine cooler. Can anyone suggest a good cooling system for my situation?

You should get a countertop cooling fridge. They are very compact, about the same size as a microwave oven, and can hold up to 20 bottles of wine.

The bearings were bad in our waterway 1.5 hp hi flow pump. We bought new bearing but then found out the cooling fan was also broke. Can's find anyone that sells these fans. Can anyone assist?

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

How badly pitted was the motor shaft? The reason I ask is the fan is going to be a bit of a challenge. Bearings, a cooling fan and likely shaft pitting and other damage from overheating does not make it worthwhile to repair a motor in most situations...

If you are OK with the shaft and the motor winding isn't damaged from the heat then I'll need the motor brand, model number and serial number to ID and quote the part. Either add it here as a comment or send it to me thru www.arrowmotor.net using the contact feature.

If this answer does not fix your problem, please comment with additional details prior to rating the answer. You may also contact me thru our website at www.arrowpools.net. Positive feedback is appreciated once your problem is solved!

My Dell Demension Desktop B110 Model has a fan bellow the power supply fan motor. That so called fan that I'm speaking of so happens to cool the processor, through a funnel type housing that goes around...

there will be a sticker on the fan itself,
it starts "CNxx-xxxxx-",
the italicised x's above denote a 5-digit part number. call dell and ask for a fan, quote the part number and but one.
failing that most local computer repair shops can change the fan motor/blade unit and fit it into the original housing.

Cooker delonghi professional dfs903 6 ring hob has terible fan like noise whenever you turn the oven on which has now become unbearable and occurs whether using the grill, the oven on fan setting or not....

i had the same problem, the noise is coming from a circular fan located under the hob itself. not from the fan at the back of the oven.its a cooling fan.i bought a new one online around £70 and got a local gas fitter to install it. its a real big job and most if not all of the gas connections to the hob have to be disconnected its a big job.but worth it.
i have the same problem with the door, thats what im looking for.
if i find a solution ill let you know

Have installed Delonghi undercounter stainless steel oven and hob bought from local supermarket. Fan making terrible noise like its touching something. My daughter has same oven and has exactly the same...

Do not disconnevt fan under any circumstances, otherwise it will cause big prob, if it is new, I would take it back, if it is under 28 days old, then they are legally bound to change it` for a new one., if more than 28 days old, then get them to repair it under guarantee.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

86 cavalade 1400 running hot i guted the thermostat hoping it would not run hot but it still does any suggestions would be appreciated

Not having a thermostat is not a good thing. The coolant does not have a chance to cool down in the radiator. Replace your thermostat and verify the fan comes on when it's supposed to. Then take the the overflow hose open end and submerge it in a clear container. Relieve all pressure in the radiator then with ststem again sealed, cap onm Run the engine and watch for smokey bubbles in the container of water. You will need to run it long enough to give the system a chance to warm up and pressurize. If this test fails, it won't take long. You have a combustion leak into the cooling system. Wishing you luck. - Ned

STOVES fan oven - inlet fan on regardless HOB GRILL or OVEN

It is correct. The exhaust fan comes on to exhaust any heat.
The oven fan is for more even baking.

46 sam dlp problem

This is pure conjecture but I think the cooling fan has failed or is running slow.
Check to see if it can still be heard.

This system seems to be a bit weak on reliability.
