Hi ,, i have just fitted a intel d845gvsrb in my pc but i am not sure where the tower speaker wire , reset sw , power sw , power led , h h d led and the black single one go`s can you please help me ..

The Picture below shows you the locations of the places to put those wires are in relation to your motherboard. In yellow is the power switch and such. and the audio connection is in red.

The Pin layout for the power and other connector are as follows:
avatar23454_10.jpg

the layout for the audio header is as follows: avatar23454_8.jpg

To install the cable that connects a front panel audio solution to the front panel audio header, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off all peripheral devices connected to the computer. Turn off the computer and disconnect the AC power cord.
  2. Locate the front panel audio header (J8A1).
  3. Remove the three jumpers from the header (this disables the back panel audio connectors).
  4. Install a correctly keyed and shielded front panel audio cable.
  5. Connect the audio cable to the front panel audio solution.

To restore back panel operations follow these steps:
1. Remove the front panel audio cable. 2. Install a jumper on pins 5-6 (rear R channel). 3. Install a jumper on pins 9-10 (rear L channel). 4. Install a jumper on pins 1-2 (mic). 5. Replace the cover.

Installed new power supply on hp m470n cannot remember which wires go where HELP

The large power connector goes onto your motherboard--20 or 24 pin--in the socket provided. It can only go in one way.
There is probably a second connector, a 4-pin--that will plug into the motherboard near the CPU. It, too, can go in only one way.
Other than that, you just have to hook up the power to the hard drive and CD/DVD.

If you have a high-performance video card that has a power connection, it's probably a 6-pin connector.

How to connect audio from motherboard p5s800

It is Asus P5S800-VM motherboard. Download the manual from Asus, click the link provided;
http://www.asus.com/Search.aspx?SearchKey=P5S800-VM
You'll need to download and install Adobe reader to view the manual;
http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/

Turn to page 1-29. Section 11. Front panel audio connector (10-1 pin FP_Audio1). Notice there are two jumpers. One across pins 9 and 10. Another across pins 5 and 6. Pin one is marked, AGND and pin two is marked MIC2. ECT.
This is default setting when using the rear audio jacks. You can not run rear audio and front audio at the same time. (So pick one or the other). To run front case audio remove the jumpers and connect the I/O cables to the FP_Audio1 pins. There is a work around. You can buy an adapter that will split the audio from the rear allowing you to connect secondary audio and mic ports. Open the link provided;
http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=2009&sku=40422
You can buy these locally. To connect the FP_Audio remove the jumpers and connect the I/O cable to FP_audio pins. Use Adobe reader and zoom in. You'll find each pin is marked.
