Cant connect password keeps failing

Hi,

What is the make and model of your router? Try to find a default router password (just Google the make, model and word "password"). Or try to looks at the router stickers - some routers have "default passwords" listed there. If you changed password, and now it does not work - try to reset modem/router to the "factory default" or Google for the "password recovery procedure" for your particular make and model.

Good luck,

How do I recover a forgotten password for an overdrivepro63E wireless internet stick

Wireless networking is a common feature in homes and offices.
Wireless routers provide access to a single Internet source, and wireless passwords ensure that only select users can access the network.
If a password is forgotten or lost, the password can be recovered or reset by accessing the router's Web-based settings menu.
Most wireless routers also have a reset button, which is capable of returning the router to its default settings which includes resetting the password.

Connect to your Wi-Fi or attach your computer directly to the router with an Ethernet cable.
Open your Web browser. Enter the default address of your router.
The default address is listed in your user manual or on the product website. Linksys and 3Com routers typically use "192.168.1.1" while Netgear routers use "192.168.0.1."
Enter your username and password.
Many routers use "admin" for the username and password by default.
Locate the wireless security settings.
Disable the wireless security.
Reset to Factory Defaults
Locate the reset button on your router.
Typically the reset button is a small indented hole on the back of the device.
Insert a long thin object such as a paperclip and hold down the reset button for 30 seconds to revert the router to its factory default settings.

How to find my wep code

You would need to sign into your router. After signing in you want to look for either setting or wireless setting and the wep code/key should be listed there. The login for the router will depend on what type of router you have and if it's been changed. The following website has a list of the most common routers with their default log in information. You will need to try the ip address listed for your router into your browser window and then type the user name and password listed. If the default user name and password does not work then you will need to reset your router by pressing the small reset button in on the back of the router for about 10 seconds and then the default user name and password should work.
