I print using a Mac computer loaded with Photoshop and I have had a problem with off-center printing along the right edge of the paper no matter which size I choose: 16", 24" or 44" rolls. What might be causing this problem?

I fixed the problem, the PW and Ink Mark sensors needed cleaning. I was able to access and remove both sensors after removing the printer housing, and moving the print head to the far left. There's enough space to unscrew the cover for the sensors, and unplug them with needle nose pliers and a couple fingers, clean them both, dry them, re-install, etc.. all is well now after some re-alignment procedures with the epson factory service program.

On the machines control panel set to sheet fed (pressing the left button will change from Sheet, roll and roll with cut). In the print settings select your paper profile. On the page setup choose sheet. In the pull down menu you should only have basic paper sizes, no custom size. choose 20x30 and try again.
let me know if this helps
SOURCE: paper doesn't always feed, and when it does, the paper rolls through without printing
Get a Q-Tip and alcohol. Wet Q-tip with alcohol. Stand in front of the printer and look down where the paper feeds through. On the righthand side you will see a big roller that pulls the paper through and a little one right up under that. Clean both of them with the alcohol and Q-tip. Press the paper feed button and as it trys to act like it is feeding the paper, clean the roller with the Q-tip. Do this until the paper feeds through correctly.

I had the same problem, and after going through so many articles, I was getting the message but didn't know how to pass the escape codes. All you need to do is pass the ASCII code of the characters needed preceded by the ASCII code for Escape. In Delphi, we use Char(27) or #27. In my case I used ESC 105 Null and it worked. Here is my sample code, with Str being a TStrings class (A string array object) and the WriteTextFile being a procedure to write the Strings to LPT1 as plain text. Str.Add('*********END**********'); Str.Add(''); Str.Add(#10); Str.Add(#10); Str.Add(#27#105); WriteTextFile(dmMain.LPTFile, Str); any questions, holla me at [email protected] or [email protected]
