Lines appearing across printed photographs

Same problem here. Any ideas yet?

First check do you install correctly the ink tanks.Remove the yellow tapes, then run some cleaning processes.

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

I have the same promblem, after changing th print head.
It priints black if I change the paper to photo paper.

You didn't state what type or weight of paper you were using.
I have this problem using hp premium photo paper, glossy. When I use a lighter weight glossy paper it goes away.

perform an Alignment test.

I fixed the problem quite easily, but had to go through a fairly lengthy process before finding out that you service was fee-paying. Sorry, but I charge also for supplying solutions...

I had the same problem. My 4 year old MultiPASS MP700 started banding magenta stripes across everything I printed.
I suspected the cyan printhead was clogged because the printhead tests showed two of the cyan columns as half missing.
Canon was less than helpful. I went off of my suspicion that I needed a new printhead. I found one from an online supplier for 50 bucks...better price than a new printer! I put the new print head in and it works like new.

When trying to print color documents or photos using our Canon MultiPASS 700, the photo or document will have stripes all the way through it. It has also developed a problem of having fine lines that do not print when we are printing a black and white document.
