Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WMA52 Front Load Washer

1 Answer

NO POWER The washing machine has stopped mid-cycle (full of water) and all the lights have gone out. Have tried changing the fuse, the outlet and the plug with no joy. Any other suggestions? If indeed it has died - how do I unlock the door to get the clothes out??!!

Easiest way to get the clothes out is to power the pump up independantly of the machine. you will need a length of mains cable and connectors. having got the water out, you should be able to remove clothes. another way is to put the drain hose down at floor level into a bucket and this will drain most of the water away. the actual fault is rather more difficult but check there is power the machine side of the mains suppressor. another possibility is the door interlock.

My mabe aqua saver green 19kg automatic washing machine constantly stops while washing and the wash and rinse led lights are blinking what could be the problem?

The blinking of the wash and rinse LED lights on your Mabe Aqua Saver Green 19kg automatic washing machine is an indication of a fault or error in the machine. There could be several reasons why this is happening, including:
  1. Power supply issues: Check to make sure that the machine is properly plugged in and that the power outlet is working correctly.
  2. Water supply issues: If the machine is not receiving enough water or if there is a problem with the water supply, it may stop mid-cycle.
  3. Blocked or damaged hoses: If the hoses that supply water to the machine are blocked or damaged, it can cause the machine to stop and display the blinking lights.
  4. Overloading: If you are putting too many clothes in the machine, it may not be able to handle the load and may stop mid-cycle.
  5. Malfunctioning sensors or control board: There could be a problem with the sensors or the control board of the machine, which can cause it to stop and display the blinking lights.
To identify the exact cause of the problem, it's best to consult the user manual or contact a professional technician who can diagnose and fix the issue.

Check water light on Bosch dishwasher

i think i would remove the outlet pipe take it to a yard water spicet and pressure blow it out to be sure it's clear then i would check where it connects on both ends to be sure those are clear then put it back together run it one cycle (empty) and see what happens.. it's also possible that the problem is from the screen in the water line going in.. being partially stopped up ... but i'm betting on the drain line.

Hi everybody, I have a SpeedQueen Washing machine that does not complete the whole cycle while washing, it stops at the mid-cycle. What could be the cause? Thanks

It could be the heater element, if the wash water does not reach the temp selected by you within a certain time period, the w/m could abort the cycle.
The pump or outlet hoses could be blocked and the w/m cannot expel the waste water between rinses.( This would be if the machine stops and is still full of water). Try running a cold wash cycle and this should confirm if it is the element as it will complete the cycle ok.
Hope this help

My washing stopped working mid cycle. I checked

the timer is probably sticking (needs replacement) or lid safety switch stuck open. try restarting the load and if stops at the same place it is the timer unit, if it fills up with water and than stops - lid switch.

Hotpoint , no power, full of water

Turn off the water supply to the machine

Take the drain hose off the back of the machine and drop it into a bucket , you will need to do this several times.(Take off any clips that stop it from being laid flat on the floor)

Once all of the water is out of the machine try powering it up again, if it lights up do a spin to get the clothes dry , leaving the outlet hose in the bucket.

If that works then once the machine is dry try turning on the water supply with the machine turned off , if water runs into the machine then you have a faulty fill valve.

If that is ok then check the pressure switch and Air Bell which sits on the back of the main drum you could have a soap ball in the Air Bell which will false out the machine and cause overfilling

If there is no power check the mains supply to the wall outlet then the plug top wiring and any fuse fitted inside the plug top

After that it is down to a man with a test meter

Hotpoint washer/dryer aqaurius stopd mid cycle with message F-01

f01 is a motor short circuit. you will probably need a new one and maybe the circuit board that powers it if all the lights went out unless the fuse is gone.
