Many new style washers of today use very little water. They are designed to sense weight and water level and fill accordingly and yes, little by little. The clothes should be sopping wet but not much visible water in the tub.
could be blocked inlet hose/filter/connection. If water flow is ok to inlet valve on rear of machine, it's probably a faulty inlet valve. Replace valve with new unit......Good luck....Nomess
most front loads use less than 5 gals to wash or rinse since most of this is absorbed by the clothes little or no water will be seen during wash action..as long as clothes get clean don't sweat it just be sure to use low suds HE detergents just remember that's why you bought the front load to save water and energy
Not really. Even if it lets you it will pump out the water first. This kind of defeats the purpose. If it didn't pump out the water it would spill on the floor.
calyso is a low water use machine similar to front loads only enough water enters machine to get clothes soaking wet water is recirculated through tube on back right corner of tub to insure clothes are soaked if pressure switch determines minum water level not reached it will add more
