was getting dime size stains on the clothes. after reading the previous problem listed here, I took the cap off the agitator and foung about a cup of softener still in the agitator. also a residual of a waxey material was coating the inside container where the softener is poured. all the drain holes in the agigator for releasing the softener were clogged. I had to get a steel rod (long pin ) to unclog the holes. Put in a bottle of vinegar and ran it through a couple of cycles and it's like new......

I think you may have a Detergent/fabric softener build up. Run your washer in a normal cycle and see if you have soap suds..if you do you have a build up you have been using to much soap. use a vingar flush to clean out the extra soap/Detergent.. Do you use Fabric softeners liquid can leave greasy spots your garments. The spots can be removed by re-washing and drying without the softener This is actually a wax. let me know if this helps..

Possibility is that the bearing seal is breaking down and oil from the bearings reaching the clothes. if so, the bearings will shortly follow. not an easy job and you are faced with a bill if i'm right

Washer leaves stains on clothing

Many times when we cook in the kitchen, we get splattered with oils that aren't easily visible. Very often these oil spots pick up dirt from the wash water. These stains don't usually get noticed until after the clothes have been dried. The best thing to do is to rub detergent or stain remover right on these spots and let them sit about half an hour. Then rewash the clothes in as hot water as the material can take afterwards.

2nd time I have oil stains on my clothes from Whirlpool LSR9434PQ1 and nothing gets them out. Need to know how to get the stains out and what kind of washing machine is better so that I can replace. Spent...

You can try Lestoil to get the grease out, it has surfactants that will help break up the grease, if they aren't set too deeply. This seems to me to have a leaking transmission if you are constantly getting grease on the clothes. A better machine is anything newer that you can afford, quite honestly, there is only your preference to what you want/need for your usage.
Hope this helps, please rate service and comment, Thank You,

I am getting stains on my dark clothes that look like oil stains.

Check that the dispenser is clean, it may be gunged up with black gunge, use soda crystals and put machine on hottest wash. If all is clean it could be down to seal gone in drum letting grease into system. Good luck, let me know how it goes.

Oil spots on clothes

HI Friend,
First of all relax alright, you are in safe hands.
See every washing machine has a turbine at the bottom f the washing bowl and below that there is a motor. And there wud be a safety valve or (washer ) which basically looks like a ring made out rubber or plastic and when this ring gets outdated or torn it stops controlling the oil flow and thats the reason y ur clothes have the oil stains ,so once it is replaced you will not have this issue.
This would surely help you in getting the clothes clean and tidy.!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And please rate me so that I can improve myself(vote).

Steam cleaning an oil spot on driveway

Hello gktweets,

Cleaning oil stains off of your driveway will require the right "products". However, if the oil stains are a heavy buildup then you will definately need to steamclean them off first.

What you will need to do is apply a sodium hydroxide based degreasing product (basically most types of degreasers) to the oil stains and let the product sit on the stains for a few days allowing for the degreaser to completely dry.

Then you will want to use a "hot" water pressure washer to steamclean the oil stains off. If you do not have a "hot" pressure washer then a cold water unit will work too just not as effectively.

If you do not have access to a pressure washer at all you should re-coat the oil stains with your degreasing product then scrub with a broom and rinse with a garden hose simultaneously.

After your driveway is completey dry and the oil stains are still minimally present you can apply a dry product known as Bio-Dry. They have videos posted up on you tube as how to purchase and apply the product.

This product will go to work on the leftover stain and will work "over-time" as far as lifting the stain out of your driveway.

You can see before and after pictures here at this site: http://www.DrivewaySteamCleaning.com

Feel free to leave any comments on the site as well, they are much appreciated.

Hope this information helps you.
