I keep getting this error code "6 / 29 / 03 BUS DEVICE RESET FUNCTION OCCURRED" when I go to burn a DVD. I've had this drive for 2 years and never had any problems until today. I did install Roxio 8 today.
Thanks so very much!

Re: BUS DEVICE RESET FUNCTION
The bus settings may be the settings that have been changed by roxio, if you havent uninstalled the previous burning programme.
Try uninstalling any burning programme you have, restart the pc and install the programme you require.
If it continues you may need to uninstall the drive, by way of :- my computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager and look down list to dvd/cdrom drives and click '+' sign to your dvd line and right click and uninstall.
Restart pc and it will automaticaly install again, ready for use.

I received an IBM laptop with same issue a few months back. The error message due to the drained out CMOS RTC (coin-cell battery), which retains and other BIOS settings. The system is OK and all you have to do is to get the CMOS/RTC battery replaced by the a professional. Good Luck! CreativeTECH
If it just started doing this all of a sudden, then it is a good bet that *********** board is fried. If you just installed some memory or a communications card or new drive, then take it out and see if it still does it. If not, check the installation instructions to make sure it was put in right.
You have a n IRQ conflict meaning you have a device that is trying to use an IRQ slot that its not meant to talk on. From the looks of it you have been in the bios already so go back in and set it to factory default.
It might be possible some kinda a BIOS corruption. Let us try this first. ASA computer starts keep on tapping F2, it will enter the BIOS setup utility, then press F9 and then F10, save the seeting and restart the computer. It should resolve the issue.
