My HP officeJet printer is not printing color properly. Black prints fine, but anything in color comes out various shades of pink. The only solution I have tried is taking the color cartridge out & reinserting and cleaning print heads. Suggestions?
Assuming you have successfully eliminated cartridge/print head problems, the only other thing to try is to delete the printer software and reinstall [Start/Printers and faxes -right click on the printer icon click delete- install new printer -Have the software disk and handy or select from list- select maker, select model,] I suspect the problem is still print head/cartridge however

It is a fussy printer. It will not print anything in color. The boarding pass is in black but still it comes out blank.
When i print a color document, the light grey keeps on coming fully black out of the printer. Tried everything from cleaning up options on the 2600n printer. Doesn't help. Levels are ok! I don' t understand
It is like a dark color, a shade of black changes to an orange color as the print dries.
