The printer will not print anything (HP Deskject 5550). The green light is on. There is no noise when I send it, and the print queue says it is printing. Mary

Make sure the covers are closed completly. It will not print unless its closed. If its not that, then check to make sure you didn't knock one of the cables loose inside the printer, and make sure the belt that moves the cartridges is still intact and is not jammed.
Check that there still isn't a piece of paper jammed in the mechanism. Also check that the paper out sensor isn't stuck. Delete the item from the print queue and reboot both the printer and computer.
1) Close the print head cover, and turn off the printer. While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press the Power button.
(Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)
2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button.
(Do not release the Power button.)
3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 3 times, and then release the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons.
4) When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button 4 times. Finally press the Power button.
Please go the this link at the HP online support site and follow the instructions given for your error lights to adjust the printer clutch.
