My tv i am sick over this, my 52 inch flat screen tv got hit with a cup and now there is a crack in my screen. i was wondering if thers is such a thing as a replacement screen? or if not is there another solution like just taking the whole screen off i know there is a total of 3 screens on the tv. it is the protective one that is cracked. please help me i am very upset over this. if possible please give me an estimated price for the replacement. thank you

If your tv has black borderaround screen protector it has to be replaced with original part..if not it can be replaced with plexi-glass, avail at local home improvment stores

It will be expensive and time consuming, but it can be done. There are many web sites that sell replacement screens. Just google TV replacement screens. You should download the service manual for your TV from Sharp's website before attempting to do the repair.

It's cheaper to buy a whole new TV. I recently acquired a similar TV with a broken screen thinkink I could get a screen cheaper than a whole new TV. I found out different. If you find a place to get a screen cheaper than a new TV I would like to know about it.
You need to buy a new TV. Even if the screen is the only issue, it will cost more to repair it than to buy a new one, and it will take months since screens are in very short supply. Check with your homeowners insurance, it may be covered since i'm sure it was an accident and that's what insurance is for. Sorry.
