JBL Creature needs a 18V, 3.5 Amp, AC power supply. JBL original power supply model is TA66180350-B2 made in China. In put power is 220-240V, 50 Hz-0.5 Amps. The AC supply is made to a dual rail supply inside the creature using a diode bridge.
A wire inside the cable has probably come loose, unless you (or a friend) have decent soldering skills to just replace the wire form the audio controller (most likely spot to have problems) to the PC they are probably just trash.
It must be a power adapator problem. Most of the power adaptors do not have a indicator to show you if its working. Is the power indicator on the subwoofer module working if not I am right about the adaptor.
