Wait until your ipod is lowbatt

Wait a little while and if that dosen't help, then just let your ipod die and then charge it again. Turn it on and see if it is still frozen.

The reset procedure listed in the owners manual will fix this problem.

Reset it - turn hold on and off then press down menu and select for about 10 seconds.

I have two 30G ipod vidoes and neither of them works! screen is blank and nothing works to get it to come on......i have pluged it into a wall charger tried to connect them to the computer and still no luck. i'm thinking there is a defect in the 30G since apple no longer makes them and now sells the 80G for the same price.
