When going through the descaling process steps, the machine stops at "empty waste container and use it to collect water". Machine does not move/respond to next step
An old thread, but this issue drove me crazy so I'll post in case others suffer. The solution for me was quite simple... I thought the instructions meant empty the waste container for the machine to use it to collect water. So I put it back inside and made no progress. It actually means take out and put under the streamer / coffee outlet to catch the water outside. Off it went all good.

Hi, According to your problem, I think there is the problem with
programming of the machine. So reprogram the machine, you can take help for
reprogram from user manual of the coffee machine. Check also the electric input
section and the electric outlet.

The PC Board may be reporting a false positive reading.
The descale message is shown if it passes mark set for a certain amount of water used by the machine by the water hardness level.
Simply turn the machine on, and while it is displaying the message, plug it out of the wall (while active) - Leave it off for about 10 minutes, and plug it in again. This should reset any memory on the board.
