The E3 code means - Longer heating time. Not reaching required temp. Cause - Malfunction of temp. sensor or heating element. Good luck !

How do you measure the element? Can you order parts & repair the dishwasher yourself?

The recommended soap tablet does not dissolve complete although the dishwasher goes complete cycle

There are two reasons why it can happen:

1. Too much dishwashing detergent (There may be build up from before causing caking and so it's not dispensing the soap tablet)

2. You will notice a tiny spring inside your dishwasher detergent dispenser. This spring is triggered during the washing cycle and causes the dispenser door to pop open. A broken spring can prevent this from happening. If the spring is clean with no food, suds, or obvious buildup preventing it from working, it likely needs replacing.

I had a similar issue and found this website really helpful. Hope this helps.

My gorenje GV62110 dishwasher now has a fault code E3 and after the dishwasher finishes its cycle the tablet is still in its holder

Hi,
it's the heating element or the temperature sensor that is not working correctly.

KITCHENAID DW KUDS30FXSS - 18 months old, will not complete cycles. Runs for 15 mins and stops & lights go out. Cleaning tablet often left in dispensor.

See my problem and solution. Sounds like you, too, are having a problem with the main control board (computer chip that controls the dishwasher), which is apparently a common problem with this model dishwasher. The part can be found here, for $211 (tax + shipping), and they have a 30-day return policy in the event that it does not fix the problem. It's an easy DIY fix. Hopefully this helps!

Tablet release

These use a wax solenoid to release which can fail, Sometimes you can just replace the dispenser but they can also damage the machine electronics.

I put the dishwashing detergent tablet in the holder. The cycle runs the green light comes on to let me know the cycle is completed. I open the door of the dishwasher and the tablet is still there in the...

Most likely, the eelectrical solenoid that releases the door's latch has failed. The control board may be the fault. The solenoid is in the door and in many models the board is too. If you wish to inspect either component, do it safely by insuring the power is disconnected. Some troubleshooting requires the power to be on. If you're comfortable working with live circuits, practice the utmost in safety. Let us know...

Washing tablet found unused on the bottom of the dishwasher...

Put the tablet in the bottom of the washer ,do a wash cycle,if the tablet is used up the washer is not releasing the tablet till the end of the wash, if the tablet is still there the water is too hard or the tablet is faulty.

Tablet falls out & doesn't dissolve especially on fast cycle

Hi and wlecome...
You should not use anything other than powered dishwasher detergent in these products. They are not designed for tablet-style detergents. The reason is because the dispenser does not "open" during the wash cycle like you would see on a conventional dishwaser. The incoming water pours over the detergent and releases the mixture out the bottom of the dispenser. Appliance runs through complete cycle without heat or tablet release

if the element looks fine it still could have gone faulty inside, test this with a multimeter for being open circuit, there are also thermal cut outs to test, these can also cause the machine not to warm up, you cant tell by looking sorry the tablet box may not release because with no heat the programme will not advance to that part
