Testimonial: "Actually - Brian reminded me to search on the error code (I already know how to copy/paste files). "
Thanks so much for replying Brian! The MS error code is 0x80070021 ("An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file..."). I searched on the error code in Outlook online help and found out I need to go through Task Manager to close Outlook folders. After shutting down the Outlook tasks, I was able to copy/paste the .pst files to a pen drive and then on to my new PC.
nice work well done

The file on the hard drive is corrupt, run scandisk and fix the file error, but the video is likely a loss

try a different usb slot ..if that doesnt works then it sounds like your pen drive is damaged .. that can happen in several ways .. if you carry it around with you, make sure the cap is on ... it can get static zapped otherwise .. also the gold fingers inside can get dirty .. another way the drives are damaged is to remove them while data is still being written to the drive ... wait until the light is no longer flashing before removing .. if you are using win98 or winMe .. then make sure you turn off the device before removing ..

Restart your PC and try it again or try it on other PCs. If problem persists then pen drive is defective. Return to retailer and ask for a replacement.
