    i also need the manual for the DR275....
    no idea why LG doesn't have their manuals posted SOMEWHERE.
    at this rate I'm going to have to buy another DVD recorder, and it WON'T be another LG

Cannot initialise disk LG DR275
it is either the laser(lens) or the mpeg printed circuit board. its easiest to replace the dvd loader , and to obtain one, you may need to contact LG and find their closest authorised dealer, they normally retail from $50 to $70 and depends when your model was made depends on availability. good luck.

Recording on lg dr275
There is CGMS protection on your analog signal. When your recorder see's this, it craps out. You need to purchase a filter to remove this restriction. If you google CGMS filter or enter CGMS on Ebay, you will find suppliers.

Trying to make my lg dr275 dvd player multi region...have tried the suggestions on website but none work
On the suggestions that you have on the website, tell us to use a CD-R wich I did. But after wasting a few of it, I tried with a DVD-R and worked much better.
