You need a signal cable, an audio cable and the power adapter. The first two are standard cables available at any retailer of computers and monitors or online. The signal cable is the type that has 15-pin "D-sub" connectors on each end. The audio cable will have a mini-stereo plug on each end. The power adapter is available from several online sources. There's an eBay auction currently running for the adapter you need.
Check that the power cable is the right one, it may need a AC adapter of some sort. Make sure the wall outlet is not one that requires a switch to be on (or at least make sure the switch is on). If those aren't the problem, sounds like a broken monitor to me. Hope that helps!
