Do a power reset first. Disconnect from the wall socket for 10 minutes..

Try factory resetting it

How to factory Reset OVHD decoder

1. Press menu from the remote control.
2. From the screen scroll to setting then press ok.
3. Under setting go to installation and press ok. Parental pin code will be required, enter 1234.
4. Scroll down to factory reset and press ok.
5. Press ok again to start channel search.

How to Factory Reset OVHD Decoder + Restore Channels

Try this qiuck solution as it works most of the time:

Switch off your DSTV Decoder or Unplug power supply cable at rear of Decoder.
Remove your Sim card and wait 90 seconds.
Switch your DSTV Decoder back on or plug Power supply cable back in at the rear of your Decoder.
Enter your Sim card and wait for your Decoder to re-scan (about 2 - 3 minutes).

My decoder is lighting red only it doesn't show anything what should I do

Is this a newly installed system? If both tv's are responding to the same remote setting (red in case), it means both tv's are set to the same channel. The tv that is connected to the decoder directly (via AV cables, I presume) is supposed to respond to if the remote is set to red. In order for the second tv to respond when the remote is set to blue, you need to tune the second tv until you find the picture of tv2 (the decoder transmits both tv1 and tv2 on the RF/coaxial output and it seems that your remote tv is tuned to tv1 instead of tv2).

This is true. The 321GSX will decode Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1 or PCM 2.0 digital signals from external sources (like most receivers) but will not decode any 6.1 content. AC3, mp3, mp4, wav, aiff all should work from a properly formated CD or DVD (must be -R or -RW format, or commercial), but not multi-channel AC3 content.

Does anyone have a solution? The authorized Sony repair center in my town is stumped.

3.2 IS the "5.1" mode for this receiver. 3.2 is indicating that you have 3 front channels and 2 rear channels. The ".1" is applied to all the speakers (LFE). If you read the manual on page 37, you'll see that "3.2" is displayed with either "Dolby Digital 3.2" or "DTS 3.2". The little icons of the speakers in the display window will show you which channels are active. The bottom line is as long as you see the blue light, it's decoding multi-channel discreet surround sound (at least 5.1).

Like most receivers it will probably have settings for the sound output. Once you find this it will be just a matter of switching the system over to Dolby signals. If you find that it already set like that, try switching the DVD or blue ray player you are using or whatever source, using their sound settings on them. So that both devices are sending and detecting Dolby signals.
If both devices are set correctly then there probably will be a fault in the decoder of the JVC.
