It is not labeled as such in the fuse box near the hood release. I have same problem. Checked ALL fuses in both boxes. All are good. Placed a fuse in each "unused" slot (my car does not have power seats, etc). Lighter still doesn't work. I am deciding it gets its power from one of the good fuses. An answer found for this problem was a solder joint connection on the BACK of the lighter was the problem. Might need to remove part of dash to untwist lighter out of holder to get to the back of the lighter. Look for a hinged piece. Open it and look for a dis-connection between two pieces for flat metal (that was the other answer said). Good luck - I have not looked here yet, but it makes sense.

HI. This vehicle contains a under the hood relay box near the front corner of the battery(which is labeled if not deteriorated), and there is also a fuse container box located below the left side of the instrument panel, as well(inside the vehicle on driver side).
The under-hood fuse box generally contains fuses and relays for engine and major electrical systems such as air conditioning, headlights (left and right respectively), fuel injection components, etc. The in-car fuse-box holds fuses for the cabin circuits such as wipers, cigarette lighter, rear defogger, signal lights etc.
It is located in the fuse box inside car. However, many GM vehicles share fuses with multiple devices. The radio fuse may also operate the cigarette lighter, and so on. My 1991 LeSabre shared fuses. Check fuses to see if any are blown.
no there is only one fuse and its usually listed under the acc . on the panel most fuse panels are either in the glove box or on the drivers side dash as you open the door or under the dash and some are located under the hood one of these areas is where you will find the panel
there is a fuse box in the engine bay and a fuse box in the vehicle. the one in the engine bay is the upper right side(passenger). the inside of the fuse box cover has a map of the fuses....this is a mirror image of the fuse box, so hold it next to the fuse box to locate the proper fuse. the box in the car is on the left (driver) lower kick panel.behind , behind the hood latch pull handle. it too has a map on it with a mirror image. make sure to replace with the same amperage fuse!
