Tassimo when i put a packet in the machine all 4 lights continue blinking.

Mine sometimes does this but cleaning the barcode reader at the top of the machine (small glass panel) fixed it. Also make sure the water container is seated correctly. If these dont fix it try pushing the water container left right/back front while there is a disc in the machine-mine has started to only work if I push the fitted water container backwards when "brewing".Its out of warranty now so I will make do until it breaks completely. The machine may not be prepared for use and you may need to go through this process (again). Disconnect plug. 1. Fill water container to 'max' (check its properly inserted). Connect plug and press on/off switch on back of machine. All lights will flash. 2. Place large cup on stand. Put the cleaning disc into the machine (as you do a t-disc). Close lid. 3. Wait 5 secs then press and release the start/stop button. it will fill internal heater then the standby light will come on. 4. Open and close the lid again, leaving the cleaning disc in place. The heating light will flash. When the green auto light goes on, press start/stop. the machine will fill the cup. Repeat this process again in its entirety. 5. Open lid and remove cleaning disc. Heating light will come on and the machine is ready for normal use. Or, could be the T-Disc is damaged? Hope this helps Louise.

As mentioned by Nicki (wilco10) my problem was solved by just moving the water container back and forth while brewing. Thanks Nicki.

I looked up your problem and found the same one was answered previously on fixya. I have copied and pasted the previous answer here for you. Good luck and I hope you have a great day!
After many months, I solved the problem of the red light staying on the Tassimo Coffee Maker. Use these easy steps.
1. Fill a 2 cup measuring cup with hot water.
2. Mix in descaler.
3. Pour in the empty water tank.
4. Put the yellow cleaning disk in the chamber and close chamber. Put the two cup measuring cup under the spout.
5. Push and hold the brew button for about 3 seconds (until the red and green light flash.
6. Now don't touch the machine. It will do it's thing for about 20 minutes. (Don't be impatient and start to push buttons, just leave it)
7. When it finishes it's cycle. The red light will turn off. Then clean the water tank and put fresh water and run clean water through the brewing cycle 4 times. Your machine is now ready for use.

Tassimo Coffee Maker: Tell me how to operate it. I can fill the water, put the pod in and all the lights keep flashing. Pressing the start/stop button does nothing.

• All lights will blink the first time you turn on your
machine. This is your cue to prepare your machine for use by
following the quick instructions in Step 1 on separate insert.
• If the water level runs low while you are preparing a
beverage, all lights will flash. Simply remove and refill the
water container, and brewing will continue automatically
where it left off. It should not be necessary to discard the T-DISC
and start over.
• The AUTO light will blink throughout the brewing process.
Some drinks require a pause in brewing as part of the recipe
for brewing your perfect cup - this is to allow the optimal flavors
to unfold and is a normal part of the brewing process. The AUTO
light will continue to blink throughout this process.

HOW TO MAKE A DRINK
• Place the mug of your choice on the cup stand.
• When the STANDBY light illuminates, insert the T-DISC® of your choice
and close the clamp.
• The HEATING light will blink as the brewer heats the water to the
optimal temperature for your drink.
• Once the proper temperature is reached, the AUTO light will
illuminate. When it lights up, press the start/stop button to begin

Our tassimo will not stop blinking, all the lights. We have tried cleaning it but that does not work. Where do we send it for repair?

Hey I was having this same problem with blinking and I was shaking the tank trying to get it to engage when my husband, who can fix literally anything, discovered that the magnet in the tank has to engage with the read sensor inside the machine. This magnet is what tells the machine that the water is getting too low. Our magnet gets stuck out of place sometimes. He said it is getting weak and we need to replace it. He used another magnet and held it at the back of the machine beside the tank near the magnet to trick it to engage. It really works! Now, I wonder if Tassimo can send me the perfect size little magnet to replace it. HMMM!

Red de scaling light won't shut off

Removing the red descaling light is simple.
1. Fill reservoir with half vinegar and half water (no need for the special descaling product from Tassimo).
2. Turn on machine.
3. Insert yellow cleaning disc found in back of machine.
4. This is where most people have the their problem...You must hold the start button for 3 to 5 seconds for the descaling program to start. Both green and red light will flash.
5. Once started, use a large cup to catch the output of water.
6. The machine will cycle through the descaling program in about 30 to 45 minutes. Be paitent!!!
7. Once completed, run many cups of plain water through the system to remove the vinegar taste.
8. Red light problem is solved.

Ethernet light is green but continuously blinks is there a problem with modem or ethernet cable?

no, a green light means there is a connection with the network and dns server (gateway to the internet) information is sent allow this network in bundles called packets. Each time a packet is sent the green light blinks.....sometimes when many packets are being sent in succession the light will appear solid. so i wouldnt worry, the green lights on your router and computer are normal and you should become concerned if these lights turn yellow or stop blinking completely.

All the lights are flashing on my Braun Tassimo TA1200 and will not make coffee

Several possibilities: (1) No water in tank.
(2) Tank not inserted properly. Try removing tank and then replacing it, making sure that the hook-tab at the back of the tassimo body engages the matching slot at the front of the tank.
(3) Tank not seated properly. Try pressing down on the tank and twisting left or right. If this stops the blinking and allows your drink to brew, at least you know where the problem is. If you have to do this all the time, consider exchanging the unit.
(4) The lights will all also blink if there is residue (coffee, milk, etc) on the bar code reader window. The residue is usually plainly visible. The bar code reader window is a horizontal rectangel directly under where the bar code of the T-Disc sits in the Tassimo. To fix this, just wipe the window clean (no need to scrub), close the lid again and check for blinking.
