Make sure that you are loading it in the back and not the front, I didn't figure this out until I looked at the manual. If you're used to HPs then you want to load in the front, but actually if you look behind the scan door, there is a black panel that you can open, and that's where you feed the paper. That thing in the front is actually where the paper comes out of. Go figure.

You will need to re-download the printers drivers and then restart your computer for the changes to take effect. Your current driver has become corrupt. Click on the link below and then select your operating system to get started:

During certain cases, you might have completed the physical integration perfectly. But still, you might not be able to accomplish the printing. This could be due to the absence of a driver installed in to your system. The problem could easily be averted, if you are installing the driver corresponding to the manufacturer. You might ensure that the version corresponds to the exact version of the printer series also.

SOURCE: pstopdffilter/pstocupsraster failed with err

Obviously this is an error coming from Adobe and not the printer. So I was start with Adobe and see what solutions they have to offer. Also, maybe I missed it somewhere, but you didn't say what OS you're using. I'll assume mac since I thing that I've seen that error related to Mac and Adobe Reader. One thing you might try is to use "open with : preview" and print from there. Don't know if that will work or not, but it's worth a try. In any case, I would still inquire through Adobe for possible updates or fixes.

Check paper size refers to the fact your documents are for say and A4 sheet of paper but your drivers properties are set to letter size. Go into the drivers printing preferences and set the paper size to the correct value. All should work fine now.

Prints blank page

Have you checked the print que
Printer problems can be a real hassle.
From time to time, due to document layout or settings on your computer, in your software of choice, or even on your printer, a blank page may get "printed" with the rest of your document.
Fortunately, this issue is a simple one to troubleshoot.
Click "Print Preview" when you are finished with your document and ready to print.
Observe your document.
If you see an extra, blank page, you have created a second page.
To delete the second page, close Print Preview, go back into the document and eliminate any blank lines in your documents that you may not need.
You may also find an inadvertent page break at the end of your document.
Place your cursor on its symbol and delete it.
Locate the symbol by clicking on the Show Formatting paragraph icon in the toolbar.

Circumvent this "ghost page" if you do not see a second (or additional) blank page in Print Preview.

Specify the number of pages you wish to print, within the Print dialogue box.
This is typically done by selecting the "Print From" option, then entering the page numbers desired.
If your document happens to be ten pages (without, of course, that final blank page), then enter in the "Print From" field the numbers "1-10".
This will print only pages 1 through 10, without an eleventh (blank) page.

Welcome to Apple Discussions

Go to: Apple > System Preferences > Print & Fax > Print and reselect your printer in the Default printer: box near the bottom of the panel. Then next in the same Print & Fax preference panel, select Open Print Queue: and Delete all the Jobs in the Status box and try printing something again.

have no idea exactly what that error means, but now I suspect that when you "Trashed the EPSON folder in HD\Library\Printers\Epson" you trashed an important part of the OS X and not the installed Epson software.

If you have a backup Time Machine, a backup clone or that file is still in the trash you need to restore it "HD/Library/Printers/Epson/InkjetPrinters2 or whatever" back to the correct location, run Repair Permissions and hope that fixes it. If not then backup all your files, because it seems like you may have to completely reinstall the OS X....

Good Luck.....

Turn it off and unplug it for about 30 seconds. Plug it back in, turn it on and try printing a Self-Test (Setup, 2, 5). If this works, try printing your document again.

ML4600 only print 2 pages

It could be losing connection to the printer when there is too much information to print.
If the cable the information needs to travel through is too long or the distance to the printer is too far - information is "lost" due to the stability of the connection.  The longer the information needs to travel the more unreliable and unstable it becomes.
Have you tried from a different computer to print the document?

How do I print on both sides of my paper

On printers without a duplexer (a device that flips the paper to allow printing on both sides) you will have to print the first side, manually flip and print the second side. If you're using MS Word or MS Publisher you can easily configure the program to organize the pages for you: Start a new, blank document. -Click File, Page Setup then click the Margins tab. -In the Multiple pages section select Book fold. -Set your document to landscape orientation if it is not already. -In the Inside and Outside boxes, type or select the amount of space you want for your margins. -In the Sheets per booklet list select the number of pages you want to include in a single booklet. If the number of pages in the document exceeds the number of pages you select for a booklet, Word prints the document as multiple booklets. -When you get ready to print make sure you check the manual duplex box (should be in the first dialog box that appears when you click on File, Print). Word will print the first page, and then prompt you to take the pages that just printed and load them into the input tray of your printer. The trick is to learn how to orient the pages correctly for your printer. Good luck.
