My son has a cingular motorola Razr V3 cell phone. All the keys on the keypad are locked up or won't work, only turns on and off. Message comes on screen, that voice mailbox is full. Any ideas how to clear this up? Thanks
You will need to take this to a professional but the problem is either a disconnected cable or somehow the firmware for the keypad got damaged and needs to be put back on the phone.
Ok let's try out a few things. Is there a little click noise when you push on the keys or does it just move up and down. If they don't click then you need to replace the keypad. If they do click try going to Motorola.com and looking at the support section find the software to update the software in your phone and do that process. If that doesn't work you need to get RSD lite and a keypad fix flex file and flex the file into your phone. my phone keypad keeps freezing up
keypad does not work. only key that works is the off key.
i have turned phone off & on.
i have removed/replaced battery.
i have removed/replaced sim.
i have charged phone.
phone rings but i cannot answer.
When I call my voicemail box to listen to a new message I push 1 to hear them but I guess it doesnt regester that I pushed 1. It shows up on the screen and any other time it will work but for some reason it wont work with the voicemail...
