I have a receiver in my room. It does not have its own box. I works off the reciever from the front room. I recently unpluged the receiver in the front room. Now my tv in my room is snowy. I have checked the assigned channels but still have not been able to fix it.
You have what is called a diplexer in the back of the the receiver in the front room.It looks like a splitter. If it is put back on in the wrong way you will have a fuzzy screen.look at the diplexer, you will see in/out which would be the input on a regular splitter, then you will have one side that would be one of the 2 outputs that will say SAT,the other side is UHF/VHF.The chances are that when you plugged them back in you had them swapped.Try changing the 2 cables around. If that doesnt work try changing the assigned channel to 68.You can also try doing a auto channel search on the tv in the room without the receiver.this will find the channel that the front room receiver is broadcasting the signal on.Chances are though that your diplexer wires are configured incorrectly.remember, the in/out should plug into the back of the receiver (satellite in)and the UHF/VHF should be going to the other room with the problem and the SAT side of the diplexer should be wired to the satellite dish.GOOD LUCK! rate me with the outcome please.

OOOPPs,I do aplogize I gave you incorrect information!!!the in and out of the diplexer should be aiming toward the wall which should be plugged into the cable coming from the wall which comes directly from the satellite dish outside and The UHF/VHF should be connected to the receiver where it says TV 2 output and the satellite output should plug into the satellite output on the back of the receiver.ALSO if you do not have a diplexer then you will have 2 cables coming from the wall that were installed. One cable goes to the satellite dish and the other goes to the 2nd tv.the cable coming from the wall that powers the second tv should be plugged into TV2 OUTPUT on the back of the receiver. If you do not have a diplxer then the chances are that you plugged the cable going to the 2nd room into the wrong output on the back of the receiver.SORRY about the confusion!

Hi, this is Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. It sounds like you are experiencing a power issue with your Dish network VIP622 DVR. You can try resetting the Receiver box by unplugging it for 10 seconds (if it is plugged into a surge protector, for the purpose of troubleshooting, plug directly into a wall outlet). Wait for receiver to reacquire satellite signal. If you are still having an issue, you will need to contact Dish Network because the receiver box will probably need to be replaced. I hope this information helps you.
