When ours came off (broke off actually) I just got a new one and screwed it in place. Take a look - it may be that it broke along a joint line (ours did) and you can't see that.

SOURCE: Water leaking from under the machine (Miele G638 Plus) dishwasher

The salt tank is a pathetic piece of ****. The plastic cracks and leaks into the bottom tray, which in turn sets off the safety switch.
Follow the attaching hoses and bypass the salt tank unless you really need it. This will save you around $250 for a salt tank and $300 labour for callout and repair.

pump maybe on it's way out, though i doubt it, is the washing machine on the same drain out? if so you may have back wash, another could be lengh of drain hose, i had the same problem with my miele dishwasher because of the position in the kitchen i doubled up the drain hose and though it pumped out fine, with the volume of water left in the hose it came back in untill i repositioned the drain hose so it could't run back, hope this helps.

SOURCE: Good morning,i have a miele dishwasher g638

You need to add rinse aid!

There is normally a place on the inside of the door which you unscrew and top up using any Rinse Aid fluid.

I have a Miele dishwasher G841 SCI and the middle spray arm will not stay attached

We have one and it is hard to get it to stay in place. I cannot easily explain how to do it, my wife is the one who has the knack of getting it on! I can suggest that you be sure the rings and tabs are going together correctly, and then press hard. Good luck!

Hello there, I have a Bosch Logixx dishwasher which I purchased just over 2 years ago. My upper dishwasher tray is not fitting properly into the hose pipe holes on the inside of the back wall of the...

Hello Deepak,

You can definitely fix this yourself, but I'm not entirely sure from your description which part is "dropping off". It may be a simple fix where something needs to be clipped back into place or you may need to replace something. Please can you take a look at the images below and identify which part you are having trouble with.

Below is the back of the upper spray arm which clips on to the upper rack. It has a grey plastic cover behind which is a large white plastic washer / gasket. The washer simply slots in to the back of the spray arm and the grey cover clips in over the top.

Your description suggests the grey plastic cover and/or the white washer are dropping off. If the grey plastic cover is missing, it may have fallen into the bottom of the washer under the lower rack, in which case you should be able to find it and clip it back on. If it's missing or wont clip back on, you will need to replace the upper spray arm as the cover and washer are not available separately.

This is the water delivery tube which clips to the back wall of the washing compartment. There is a metal clip which secures the tube to the wall. The open hole and one of the spigots slot in to the two holes in the back of the upper spray arm above. The spigot used depends on which height setting the upper rack is on.

Basically, everything simply clips together. If nothing is broken, you should be able to fix this at no cost by simply clipping the offending part back into place.

Hope this helps. If you need further assistance or help locating replacement parts, please let me know what needs to be replaced. Nearly all Bosch parts are available and in stock direct from Bosch.

My miele a660, suddenly stopped sparying water.Machine takes water and drains it but does not spray at all. arms are clean

I believe that is your motor that is shot. When the motor spins it creates a pressured vortex, which sucks the water down into the unit and shoots it out through the tubes. So no water movement means your motor which is about $130 is probably dead. Sorry

Dishwasher not cleaning properly and everything tastes like soap

Hi,

To start with reduce the amount of detergent you are using. 2 teaspoons of detergent is enough for any wash.

Probably blocked spray arms is the cause of the unit not cleaning properly. Remove each spray arm (there are 3 in total) and check and clean all the holes as this is where the water sprays out from to clean the dishes and glasses. When they are blocked you get poor wash results. The bottom spray arm is the easiest and just pulls out the other two in the middle and the top you have to unscrew like a childs lock on a tablet bottle. Push up from underneath and unscrew each arm.

Hope this helps.

Upper Spray Arm in the dishwasher has fallen off

If you cannot just twist it so it screws back on a part was broken.

So I suggest you contact the manufacturer about this. Im sure that will be much more helpful!
